I've loved all of Bekah Harris' books except this one. The ending felt rushed and there were multiple typo's, missing punctuation, missing spaces between words and overlooked mistakes, like the wrong name being used.I really, really enjoyed The Lost Cove Darkling series in regards to Tristen and Felicity's story. Their story throughout the series is beautiful, and The Emerald Court gives them a good conclusion.Besides the above mentioned errors, what additionally ruined The Emerald Court for me was Ivy and Ardan's storyline.SPOILERI absolutely loathe that Ms. Harris killed off Ardan. Seriously, WTF? He and Ivy were amazing together. They were so happy and in love. It seems Ms. Harris killed off Ardan so Bear could potentially have his happily ever after with Ivy. That was a cop-out.Okay, so Bear has been through a lot of crap and probably deserves a happily ever after (side note: you may need to read the predecessor series, The Iron Crown Faerie Tales, for this to make sense) but not at the expense of Ardan's life.I really wish we could have seen Ivy and Ardan have a child together. Maybe that could be Ms. Harris' next story - Ivy and Ardan's kid that was sent to the human realm for safe keeping. Sounds much better than the eluded Raven and Dante demon hunting storyline.
